Pay Scale: 

Rs.37, 400-67,000 (PB-4) + Rs.8, 700 (Grade pay) (T.E. Rs.72, 838)

Eligibility: 

Age: Not exceeding 50 years.

Educational: Master’s Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture from a recognized University or equivalent OR Master’s Degree in Horticulture from a recognized University or equivalent OR Master’s Degree in Botany with Horticulture as a subject from a recognized University or equivalent OR Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture with Post Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture or  Horticulture from a recognized University or equivalent OR Bachelor's Degree in Botany with Post Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture from a recognized University or equivalent OR Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture with Post Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture from a recognized University or equivalent.

Experience: Twelve years' experience in Horticulture work including ornamental gardening.

Duties: To advise the NEC as regards the formulation and implementation of NEC Plan as regards developments in the important Agriculture and Horticulture sector for developing rural livelihood and employment and for Examining projects/scheme proposals received from the eight North Eastern States.
