Educational Qualifications

1. Senior Consultants:

  1. A recognised Medical qualification included in the  First or
  2. Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act,  1956. (102 of 1956).
  3. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third
  4. Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of
  5. Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act,  1956.
  6. Post Graduate Degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned.        
  7. Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma. 
  8. Knowledge of Konkani.Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

2. Junior Physician

  1. A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or  the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956).Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  2. Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned.
  3. In case of Diploma holders, work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. 
  4. Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

3. Public Health

  1. A degree qualification included in Part I or Part  II of the schedule to the Dentist Act, 1948  (16 of 1948). 
  2. Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

4. Homeopathic

  1. A degree or diploma of not less than 4 years duration, included in the Homeopathic Central Council Act, 1973 and enrolment on a State Registrar or the Central Registrar of Homeopathy.
  2. 5 years of Homeopathic practice, preferably in a hospital or dispensary.                           
  3. Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

  1. Qualification in Homeopathy included in the third Schedule to the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (D.F. Hon. M.F. Hon.F.F. Hon.).
  2. A degree in Science from a recognized University.
  3. Knowledge of Marathi.

5. Curator                             

 

  1. Atleast second class Master’s degree in Indian History/ Archaeology/Arabic/Persion/Museology/Art and Culture/ Sanskrit /Pali/        Prakrit from a recognised University or equivalent.
  2. One years  experience of Curatorial work in a Government Museum or any reputed public Museums of trusts, etc.
  3. knowledge of Konkani.            
  4. Desirable: i) Diploma in  Museology,  ii)  Knowledge of Western Architecture  iii) Knowledge of Marathi.

6. District Welfare Officer (North and South

  1. Degree in Social Service  or Social Welfare or Social work  or Social Work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent. 
  2. 5years experience in Social Work in any Government recognised Social Welfare Organization.
  3. Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: i) Knowledge of Marathi.
