Central Police Force Exam Pattern

The entrance for Central Police Force comprises of a Written Exam, Physical and Medical Standard Test, Physical Efficency Test followed by Personality Test. The details follow:

Eligibility for Central Police Force

Nationality

  • A candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • A candidates who is not a citizen of India can only be appointed if he/she has a consent of the Central Government signified in writing.

  • Date of Notification: 28th July 2012
  • Last Date of Receipt of Applications: 27th August 2012
  • Date of commencement of Examination: 11th November 2012
  • Duration of Examination: 1 Day

Central Police Force

The UPSC conducts Central Police Force Examinations every year to recruit Assistant Commandments (Group A) in Central Police Forces. The examination is conducted in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Gazette of India.
